- condoms don't always protect you from herpes. Sorry to get graphic, but you can get herpes from touching a herpe sore with your skin. Which is easy because they can grow all over the skin, not only on your genitals.

- I was a member of the Universal Unitarian church. My pastor was a gay man raising two adopted sons with his partner. They were very open with their love for each other. As far as liberal goes, I think a congregation that embraces gays like this is as liberal as it gets.

- Seems like you're very angry about being in foster care, but yet can't find any compassion for adopted parents who tried to pull kids out of the system. Its not people like me who put you in the system, it was your neglectful mother and you extended family who didn't take you in.

- Crackle is white and he didn't hear all of that stuff you put in quotes GEEZ. Its just you who focused on the racial aspect. Crackle has enough empathy that he can look past the racial divide and consider the world of the adopting parents. Its you, this racial divide has you all up in arms.

- I was also horrified by the amount of racism on this post. Especially in the beginning of the thread, people were completely out of control. Blinded with rage. But in the second half of this thread, I have heard a lot of compassion and goodwill. I think this thread reflects society.
